The Easter vacations are the highlight of our winter sports season. That’s why Easter at the Haven always feels like a warm spring awakening: In the morning, you glide from the ski cellar into the snow of Snow Space Salzburg in bright sunshine. In the afternoon, the action shifts to the valley, where you can go hiking, (e-)biking or golfing. Alternatively, you can unwind with yoga, in the spa, on the rooftop terrace or on your huge private balcony.
From the ski cellar in the Haven, you have access to Snow Space Salzburg with its 70 lifts and 210 kilometers of slopes. There’s just as much to experience here: Casual fun parks, great attractions for little ski fans, timed race courses, wonderful stroll runs, iron-hard black pistes, super freeride routes and nice huts. Just as much fun awaits you off-piste. Best of all, you can take on a new challenge every day of the week thanks to our free activity program with a guide.
At Haven, you and your kids will quickly shake off the winter cabin fever. After all, it’s straight from the ski cellar to a mega ski area. If the minis like skiing with their peers, they’ll make friends right away at the in-house ski school. Alternatively, there’s plenty for your “Family” team to experience in the ski area. In addition to unlimited winter sports, the animals in Oberhof, the heated rooftop swimming pool, the super-large apartments and a playground on the doorstep are all tempting.
Do you really want to experience something while cuddling, exercising and enjoying yourself with your sweetheart? Then come on over. Here you can let off steam as you like in the great outdoors, but also chill out in style and celebrate togetherness. Our huge apartments with all the trimmings and an infrastructure that couldn’t be more beautiful make sure of that.
The Haven is not far from St. Johann im Pongau train station. This means you can find a convenient train connection to Salzburger Land from practically anywhere in the DACH region. We will pick you up from the station free of charge. Ski pass & course as well as top rental equipment are available directly at our hotel. The piste is also right on the doorstep. Our hiking shuttle Herbie is available for excursions. So: enjoy a relaxed journey, collect karma points with pleasure and leave the car at home.
Our region offers numerous first-class restaurants that you can discover as a Haven guest. You are completely free to choose what you eat – whether you cook yourself or let someone pamper you. All apartments have a fully equipped kitchen, there is almost always something delicious on deck7, and our bread roll and to-go service are also available.
Celebrate the resurrection of Jesus and the reawakening of nature at the Lungau Easter fire, go on an Easter egg hunt with your kids among the rabbits in the neighboring Oberhof or in the Salzburg Open Air Museum, visit the Salzburg Easter Festival or take a leisurely stroll through picture-book beauty in Salzburg. This is how the Easter message is guaranteed to get under your skin!
The Haven includes the OPEN GOLF golf course, which our guests can use free of charge and without any restrictions over Easter. Beginners can obtain a playing permit here in just a few days. There are also 18 other golf courses within a 60-minute radius. Equipment is available for hire and our free shuttle takes you straight to the tee – the perfect start to the 2025 golf season!
While you are happily braiding your hair in the snow up on the mountain, the first green appears in the valley, meltwater rushes happily along the path everywhere and the joy of life that is now in the air is just as wild. It is particularly fun now to get on your bike and let yourself be infected by it on a long tour on quiet valley roads.
